The opportunity of participating in projects conducted by shipyard and engeenering companies extends far beyond the professional skills, knowledge and effort me and my collegues put into tasks which had been trusted with us. Involvment in every single project is a source of new experience that we later relay on while working on other projects organized by SSSS/FOURES on European and Scandinavian markets.

I am honoured by taking part in construction of the world’s most modern vessels like DSV ‘’SCANDI ARCTIC”, designed for underwater operations involving divers, and DSV ‘’SCANDI AKER”, vessel designed to meet the needs of oil mining industry.

STX Europe is an international shipbuilding group which aims to be the leading builder of cruise and offshore vessels. The group has a strong position in terms of developing state-of-the-art concepts, technology, processes and products for customers around the world. STX Europe AS comprises 15 shipyards in Finland, France, Norway, Romania, Brazil and Vietnam. STX Europe has approx. 16 000 employees.

From September 2008 to May 2009 I was involved in equiping the vessel with machines and enginery for a marine power plant. I was also responsible for fitting the technical equipment produced by DIVEX.

I have been also involved in supervising hydraulic systems conducted by the engineers from NORSON company.

Since October 2009 I have been working on equiping the drilling rig .This project is supervised by the engineers from National Oilwell Varco.

National Oilwell Varco is a worldwide leader in providing major mechanical components for land and offshore drilling rigs, complete land drilling and well servicing rigs, tubular inspection and internal tubular coatings, drill string equipment, extensive lifting and handling equipment, and a broad offering of downhole drilling motors, bits and tools. National Oilwell Varco also provides supply chain services through its network of distribution service centers located near major drilling and production activity worldwide.

I am very greatful to Norvegian, Scotish and English managers, engineers as well as foremen for giving me the opportunity of being part of the team while working on the above projects.
